Advances in the Mechanisms of Acetyl-CoA Acyltransferase 2 in the Regulation of Animal Fat Metabolism
动物脂肪代谢在机体中通常维持着动态平衡状态,一旦平衡被破坏,即可能引发脂质代谢紊乱,进而通过增加代谢性疾病发生风险、诱发氧化应激和慢性炎症、导致胰岛素抵抗等途径影响动物健康.通过调控脂肪代谢关键因子的表达水平来改变脂肪代谢方向,是当前的高效途径之一.乙酰辅酶 A 酰基转移酶 2(acetyl-CoA acyltransferase 2,ACAA2)作为脂肪酸分解代谢途径中的关键酶,在脂肪酸β-氧化过程中催化关键反应,对维持脂肪代谢平衡至关重要.本文介绍了动物脂质代谢紊乱的危害及其调控因素,分析了ACAA2的生物学功能、其转录调控及翻译后修饰,总结了其在动物肝脏组织、脂肪组织和心血管系统中脂质代谢调控方面的作用与机制.对ACAA2的研究有望为改善动物脂质代谢紊乱及其引发的一系列代谢性疾病,提供有效的防治策略与理论依据.
The metabolism of animal fats usually maintains a dynamic equilibrium within the body.Once this balance is disrupted,it may lead to lipid metabolism disorders,which can subsequently affect animal health by increasing the risk of metabolic diseases,inducing oxidative stress and chronic inflammation,and causing insulin resistance,among other pathways.One of the current efficient approaches is to regulate the expression levels of key factors involved in fat metabolism to change the direction of fat metabolism.Acetyl-CoA acyltransferase 2(ACAA2),as a key enzyme in the fatty acid catabolic pathway,catalyzes critical reactions during fatty acid β-oxidation and is crucial for maintaining the balance of fat metabolism.This article introduces the hazards of lipid metabolism disorders in animals and the regulatory factors,analyzes the biological functions,transcriptional regulation and post-translational modifications of ACAA2,and summarizes its roles and mechanisms in lipid metabolism regulation in animal liver tissues,adipose tissues and cardiovascular systems.Research on ACAA2 is expected to provide effective prevention and treatment strategies and theoretical basis for improving lipid metabolism disorders in animals and the associated series of metabolic diseases.
