未来模拟量表在中国成年人群体中的信效度检验OA

Objective:To revise the Chinese version of the Future Simulation Scale(FSS)and examine its reliability and validity.Methods:A total of 1,156 adults took part in the survey.In which,a total of 614 participants were recruited to complete the Chinese future simulation scale,the future self-continuity scale,and the life satisfaction scale for item analy-sis,exploratory factor analysis,criterion-related validity analysis,and reliability analysis.Another sample of 542 partici-pants was recruited to complete the Chinese future simulation scale for confirmatory factor analysis and measurement invari-ance test.One month later,a total of 131 participants from 542 participants were randomly selected for the test-retest reli-ability.Results:(1)The revised Chinese future simulation scale consisted of 30 items across five factors:detailed imagina-tion,positive expectation,future self,future social environment,and fleeting imagination.(2)Confirmatory factor analysis suggested that the 5-factor model had a good fitness,x2/df=2.229,RMSEA=0.048,CFI=0.934,TLI=0.927,SRMR=0.063.(3)Criterion-related validity analysis showed that five dimensions of future simulation scale were correlated with the vivid-ness,positivity,similarity dimensions of future self-continuity,as well as with life satisfaction.(4)The Cronbach's α coeffi-cients of all factors ranged from 0.738 to 0.948,and the test-retest reliabilities ranged from 0.530 to 0.721.(5)Measure-ment invariance test across genders supported the invariance of the Chinese future simulation scale between males and fe-males.Conclusion:The Chinese version of the future simulation scale demonstrates a good reliability and validity,which is suitable for assessing how Chinese adults imagine future scenarios related to their wellbeing.
