质谱成像技术(Mass spectrometry imaging technology,MSI)是一种将质谱数据转换为二维分子空间分布的技术,无需标记即可对样品进行空间可视化分析.人参、西洋参和三七是五加科人参属代表性药用植物,被广泛应用于临床.对人参属药用植物成分的研究多集中于定性和定量分析.而MSI能够同时实现对成分直接成像,获取成分在植株组织及动物组织中空间分布信息,并在此基础上研究人参属药用植物的药效成分、活性及作用机制.对MSI发展及其在人参属药用植物研究中的应用进行综述,以期为人参属药用植物相关研究提供借鉴.

Mass spectrometry imaging(MSI)is a technique that converts mass spectrometry data into a two-dimensional spatial distribution of molecules.It enables the spatial visualization analysis of sample tissues without labeling.Ginseng,American ginseng,and notoginseng are representative medicinal plants of the Panax genus in the Araliaceae family and are widely used in clinical practice.Research on the components of medicinal plants of the genus Panax has mostly focused on qualitative and quantitative analysis.MSI can directly image the components simultaneously and obtain the spatial distribution information of the components in plant and animal tissues.On this basis,it can be applied in the researches of effective components,activities,and mechanisms of medicinal plants of the Panax genus.This review focused on the development of MSI and its application in the research of medicinal plants of the Panax genus,with the expectation of providing references for relevant research on medicinal plants of the Panax genus.
