Tectonic characteristics and evolutionary history of the Ural Orogenic Belt

乌拉尔造山带记录了原特提斯洋(古亚洲洋)西缘弧盆系多期次构造演化过程,是解析洋陆转换与大陆增生机制的关键研究对象.本研究基于板块构造理论,结合区域地质资料与构造解析,提出新的构造分区方案与演化模式,揭示乌拉尔造山带构造特征与演化历史.研究结果表明:(1)乌拉尔造山带可划分为前乌拉尔前渊、西乌拉尔逆冲推覆带、中乌拉尔基底隆起带、乌拉尔增生杂岩带、塔吉尔-马格尼托戈尔斯克多期岛弧带、东乌拉尔花岗岩带及乌拉尔过渡带等 7大构造单元,呈现自西向东递进增生的极性特征.(2)乌拉尔造山带划分为 6个构造演化阶段:新元古代中期(里菲期)至晚期(文德期)的大陆裂解阶段;新元古代末期(文德晚期)古乌拉尔造山阶段;寒武纪至早石炭世弧后盆地扩张阶段;石炭纪乌拉尔弧盆系闭合阶段;中—晚二叠世乌拉尔造山阶段;中生代至新生代乌拉尔陆内造山阶段.(3)揭示了塔吉尔(硅铝基底)与马格尼托戈尔斯克(硅镁基底)等 5期弧盆体系的时空分异及东乌拉尔花岗岩主轴多期岩浆响应的俯冲-碰撞机制.(4)晚古生代俯冲后撤控制的滨里海弧后裂陷与造山带隆升磨拉石沉积构成盆山耦合系统.研究成果为乌拉尔造山过程及中亚油气资源分布规律提供了新的构造约束.

The Uralian orogenic belt records the multi-stage tectonic evolution of the arc-basin system along the western margin of the Proto-Tethys Ocean(Paleo-Asian Ocean),serving as a key area for deciphering the mechanisms of ocean-continent transformation and continental accretion.Based on plate tectonic theory and integrated with regional geological data and structural analysis,this study proposes a new tectonic subdivision scheme and evolutionary model to elucidate the structural characteristics and evolutionary history of the Uralian orogen.The research results indicate that:(1)The Uralian orogenic belt can be divided into seven major tectonic units:the Pre-Uralian foredeep,West Uralian thrust-nappe belt,Central Uralian basement uplift,Uralian accretionary complex belt,Tagil-Magnitogorsk multi-stage island arc belt,East Uralian granitic belt,and Trans-Uralian zone,exhibiting a westward-to-eastward progressive accretion polarity.(2)The tectonic evolution of the Uralian orogen is divided into six stages:continental rifting from the mid-Neoproterozoic(Riphean)to late Neoproterozoic(Vendian);the Paleo-Uralian Orogeny in the latest Neoproterozoic(Late Vendian);back-arc basin expansion from the Cambrian to Early Carboniferous;closure of the Uralian arc-basin system during the Carboniferous;the Uralian orogeny in the Middle to Late Permian;and intracontinental orogeny from the Mesozoic to Cenozoic.(3)The spatiotemporal differentiation of five arc-basin systems,including Tagil(sialic-basement)and Magnitogorsk(sima-basement),and the subduction-collision mechanisms controlling the multi-stage magmatic responses along the East Uralian granitic belt are revealed.(4)The Late Paleozoic subduction rollback-controlled rifting in the Caspian back-arc basin and the uplift-related molasse sedimentation in the orogenic belt constitute a coupled basin-orogen system.These findings provide new tectonic constraints for understanding the Uralian orogenic processes and the distribution of hydrocarbon resources in Central Asia.
