"衷中"的易学根柢:张锡纯医易思想研究OA

The academic community is well aware that Zhang Xichun(张锡纯)is a clinical expert who advocates the integration of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)and Western medicine.In fact,Zhang Xichun is also a representative figure who advocates the integration of TCM and Yi Jing(《易经》The Book of Changes).By exploring his thoughts on medicine and Yi Jing,it was evident that he inherited the cosmology and bodily view of Tai Chi's qi transformation,believing that everyone in heaven and earth was born from qi transformation,and explained the mechanism of heart and kidney development using the generation model of Tai Chi's Two Elements and Four Symbols in Yi Jing.He regarded the mutual roots of yin(阴)and yang(阳)as the driving force for the continuous growth of heaven,earth,and man,and attributes this principle to Yi Jing.He advocated the integration of medical theories and Yi Jing,using Yi Jing to explain medical theory.He further applied the thinking mode of analogy and seeking the same qi in the study of Yi Jing to clinical practice,and elucidated the novelty of medicines.The concept of"Zhong Zhong(衷中 taking TCM as the root)"proposed by Zhang Xichun was not solely rooted in TCM,but also integrates TCM with Yi Jing,aiming to provide fundamental basis for the theoretical study of TCM.The connotation of"Zhong Zhong"was to take TCM and Yi Jing as the root,and the concept of"Zhong Zhong Can Xi(衷中参西take TCM as the root,and refer to Western medicine for use)"fundamentally dealt with the relationship between Yi Jing,TCM,and Western medicine,that is,the combination of TCM and Yi Jing is fundamental,with Western medicine serving as a tool.This way was taken from Tang Rongchuan(唐容 川).An exploration into Zhang Xichun's thoughts of integrating TCM and Yi Jing provides a practical foothold to unlock the treasure house of Chinese civilization via TCM.
