Party-Building as the Driver of Chinese National Community Construction in Frontier Ethnic Regions
习近平总书记在2024年12月主持中共中央政治局第十八次集体学习时强调,推进边疆治理体系和治理能力现代化,是中国式现代化的应有之义,并提出了深入做好边疆治理工作的重点任务,尤其是提出了坚持把推进中华民族共同体建设作为边疆民族地区工作的主线的重大论断.基于上述论断可得出三点学习认识:一是全面理解中华民族共同体建设是边疆民族地区各项工作的主线重大论断的深刻内涵;二是准确把握铸牢中华民族共同体意识与推进中华民族共同体建设的统一关系;三是深刻认识党建在推进中华民族共同体建设中的保障引领作用.
At the 18th collective study session of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee in December 2024,Xi Jinping emphasized that modernizing the frontier governance system and capacity is an inherent requirement of Chinese-style modernization,and identified the construc-tion of the Chinese national community as the central task of work in frontier ethnic regions.This paper develops three analytical insights from this directive:a comprehensive understanding of the significance of national community construction as the principal thread of all work in frontier ethnic regions;a precise grasp of the dialectical relationship between forging a sense of community for the Chinese nation and advancing Chinese national community construction;and a recognition of the foundational and guiding role of Party-building in this process.
