Advances in Domestic Horse Mitochondrial DNA Research
家马线粒体DNA(mtDNA)因其具有严格的母系遗传、进化速率快、结构紧凑等特点,已成为研究家马起源、进化与群体历史的重要分子标记.基于这一特性,线粒体分子标记技术在家马研究中被广泛应用,并随着限制性片段长度多态性分析和高通量测序等技术的发展而不断深入.本文系统综述了家马 mtDNA的结构特征、分子标记技术及其在种内与种间遗传多样性分析中的应用,以期为家马的系统发育研究、品种鉴定及遗传资源保护提供理论参考.
Equine mitochondrial DNA(mtDNA)has become a pivotal molecular marker for investigating the origin,evolu-tion,and population history of domestic horses,owing to its characteristics such as maternal inheritance,rapid evolutionary rate,and compact structure.Based on these features,mitochondrial molecular marker techniques have been widely applied in equine research and have advanced significantly with the development of methods such as restriction fragment length polymorphism(RFLP)analysis and high-throughput sequencing.This paper reviews the structural characteristics of horse mtDNA,the molec-ular marker techniques employed,and the application of mtDNA polymorphism in analyzing genetic diversity both within and a-mong horse breeds,aiming to provide theoretical insights for phylogenetic studies,breed identification,and the conservation of genetic resources in domestic horses.
