民族地区小学生数学焦虑与问题解决的关系:元认知的中介作用OA
Effects of Mathematics Anxiety on Word Problem Solving in Chinese Tibetan Students:The Mediating Role of Metacognition
数学问题解决是学生在理解和运用数学知识过程中的核心能力,对其学业表现和思维发展具有决定性影响.为深入探讨民族地区小学生数学焦虑、元认知与数学问题解决之间的关系,对 302名藏族五年级学生进行了调查.研究发现:元认知不仅能够直接正向预测学生的问题解决表现,还在数学焦虑与解题表现之间起中介作用;数学学习焦虑对应用题解决具有显著的负向预测作用,而数学评估焦虑则与解题表现及数学成绩无显著相关.同时,研究对数学学习困难学生(MLD)与高成就学生(HA)进行了差异分析,发现 MLD 学生与 HA 学生在数学学习焦虑和元认知方面存在显著差异,但在数学评估焦虑方面无显著差异.这些发现不仅为理解民族地区学生数学问题解决中认知与情感因素的影响机制带来了新视角,同时也为提升民族地区学生数学问题解决能力提供了实证依据.
Mathematical problem-solving constitutes a fundamental competency in the process of students understanding and applying mathematical knowledge that significantly influences students'academic achievement and cognitive growth.This study examined the intricate relationships among mathematics anxiety,metacognition,and problem-solving abilities in 302 fifth-grade Tibetan students from ethnic minority regions.Key findings indicate that metacognition serves a dual function:it directly and positively predicts problem-solving performance while simultaneously mediating the negative impact of mathematics anxiety.Notably,learning-related mathematics anxiety significantly and nagatively predicts word problem-solving capabilities,in contrast to evaluation-related anxiety which showed negligible effects.Comparative analysis between students with mathematical learning difficulties(MLD)and high-achieving students(HA)revealed distinct patterns in both anxiety manifestations and metacognitive functioning.These findings not only provide a new perspective on the mechanisms by which cognitive and emotional factors influence mathematical problem-solving among students in ethnic minority regions,but also offer empirical evidence for enhancing the mathematical problem-solving abilities of students in these regions.
