Distribution and Influencing Factors of Native and Exotic Fish Species in Key Rivers,Lakes,and Reservoirs of Jiangsu Province

调查江苏省本土、外来鱼类群落的多样性和组成结构,为江苏省河湖库鱼类资源提供本底数据,也为我国本土鱼类的保护和外来鱼类的监管提供科学依据.采用环境DNA(eDNA)技术,2023年系统调查了江苏省113个重点河湖库的本土和外来鱼类群落多样性和结构组成,评估了其生物量,并揭示了各类水体中本土和外来鱼类群落组成和生物量对典型环境压力的响应差异.研究结果显示,江苏省河湖库中检测出的本土鱼289种,外来鱼76种;河湖库中本土鱼物种数占比相近,分别为77.94%、75.85%和76.05%.河湖库中相对丰度最高的本土鱼均为鲫(Carassius auratus),外来鱼分别为朝鲜鳑鲏(Rhodeus uyekii)、大口黑鲈(Micropterus salmoides)和饰妆铠甲弓背鱼(Chitala or-nata).河湖库的本土和外来鱼类群落组成和生物量在太湖、长江下游和淮河三大流域间无显著地理差异(P>0.1),但环境因素对鱼类分布的影响较为显著.氨氮、总磷和高锰酸盐指数等水质指标对本土鱼类群落组成影响显著;而土地利用类型和周边人口密度对外来鱼群落组成有较大影响.随机森林模型评估进一步指出,农业用地占比、城市用地占比和溶解氧是共同影响本土和外来鱼类生物量的3个重要参数.

In this study,we systematically investigated the diversity and structure of native and exotic fish communities in 113 key rivers,lakes and reservoirs in Jiangsu Province using environmental DNA(eDNA).Further,we assessed differences in community composition and biomass of native and exotic fishes in various types of surface water in response to typical environmental stressors.A total of 289 na-tive fish species and 76 exotic fish species were detected during the survey in December 2023,and the proportions of native fish species in the rivers,lakes and reservoirs were similar,respectively accounting for 77.94%,75.85%and 76.05%of the total species number.The most abundant native fish species,both absolute and relative,in all types of surface water was Carassius auratus,and the exotic fish species with the highest relative abundances were Rhodeus uyekii in rivers,Micropterus salmoides in lakes and Chitala ornata in reservoirs.The community composition and biomass of the native and exotic fishes in rivers,lakes and reservoirs showed no significant geographic differences(P>0.1)among the three major basins of Jiangsu Province(Taihu Lake,the lower Yangtze River and the Huaihe River),but environmental fac-tors did exert a significant effect on fish distribution.Water quality indicators such as ammonia nitrogen(NH3-N),total phosphorus(TP),and permanganate index(CODMn)had a significantly effect on the com-munity composition of native fishes,while land use type and surrounding population density had a larger impact on the community composition of exotic fish species.The random forest model indicated that the proportions of agricultural and urban land uses and dissolved oxygen(DO)were the most important pa-rameters affecting the biomass of native and exotic fishes.The findings of this study provide background data for systematizing the fish resources of Jiangsu Province and provide a scientific basis for protecting native fish and controlling exotic fish.
