Objective:To explore medication compatibility rules of Professor Zha Ansheng's prescription in treating gastroesophageal reflux disease(GERD)using data mining technology,providing prescription basis and clinical insights for the treatment of GERD.Methods:A total of 200 first-visit prescriptions from Prof.Zha Ansheng's outpatient clinic for GERD patients(from September 1,2023,to October 1,2024)were collected.A prescription database was established.After standard-ized processing,frequency statistics were performed on the herbs,their properties,flavors,meridian tropisms,and medicinal categories.Bivariate,trivariate and multivariate association analyses as well as complex network analysis were conducted on herbs with a frequency>50.Results:The top 10 most frequently used herbs were:Chenpi,Banxia,Baizhu,Zhiqiao,Pugongying,Zhebeimu,Muxiang,Sharen,Foshou,and Baiji.The predominant herb properties were warm and cold;the main flavors were bitter and pungent;the herbs mainly acted on the spleen and stomach meridians.Frequency analysis of herb categories showed that Qi-regulating herbs,heat-clearing herbs,phlegm-resolving,cough-relieving,and asthma-relieving herbs,dampness-resolving herbs,and deficiency-tonifying herbs ranked in the top five.Association rule analysis indicated that Muxiang-Sharen,Chenpi-Sharen,and Chenpi-Muxiang were commonly used herb pairs,with a high likelihood of the combination of Muxiang,Sharen,and Banxia.Chenpi,Sharen,Muxiang,and Banxia showed strong associations.Complex network analysis yielded the core prescription:Chenpi,Banxia,Zhiqiao,Baizhu,Muxiang and Sharen.Conclusion:Prof.Zha Ansheng's approach to treat-ing GERD focuses on regulating Qi,strengthening the spleen,harmonizing the stomach,and resolving dampness,supple-mented by clearing heat,resolving phlegm,and tonifying deficiency.This promotes Qi flow,strengthens the spleen,clears heat,resolves dampness,and eliminates phlegm,thereby restoring the normal ascending and descending functions of the spleen and stomach Qi activity.The core formulas are Erchen Decoction,Zhizhu Pill,and Xiangsha Liujunzi Decoction.
