Digital countryside is a key driver for advancing the modernization of agriculture and rural areas,as well as an essential component in building a digital China.The new agricultural productivity,with technological innovation at its core and digitalization and intelligence as its prominent features,serves as a critical engine for promoting the construction of digital countryside.From a value perspec-tive,the new agricultural productivity empowers rural production,life,ecology,culture,and gov-ernance through technological innovation,the aggregation of new elements,the establishment of new models,the development of new business forms,and the activation of new momentum.However,the empowerment of digital countryside by the new agricultural productivity faces practical challenges such as insufficient core technology supply,inadequate infrastructure,shortcomings in ecological govern-ance,inefficient transformation of cultural resources,and insufficient collaboration among multiple stakeholders.To address these issues,it is necessary to strengthen technological innovation,improve digital infrastructure,establish a sound digital ecological governance system,activate the digital mo-mentum of culture,and deepen reforms in governance mechanisms,aiming to provide theoretical sup-port and practical references for enhancing the quality and efficiency of digital countryside construction.
