西北旱区农地经营规模与灌溉用水效率关系新探讨OACHSSCD

A new exploration of relationship between farmland production scale and irrigation water use efficiency in arid regions of northwest China

基于2008-2022年西北旱区114个县的面板数据,采用子矢量DEA、面板Tobit和门槛模型,实证分析农地经营规模与灌溉用水效率的作用机制及门槛效应,并进一步剖析农地经营规模与多个农业效率衡量指标的互动关系.结果表明,西北旱区灌溉用水效率呈"南移西进"的时空演化趋势,农地经营规模与灌溉用水效率呈显著的倒"U"型关系,且门槛检验表现出明显的区域异质性.进一步分析发现,农地经营规模与全要素生产率、土地生产率呈倒"U"型关系,与劳动生产率呈"U"型关系,不同衡量指标的门槛特征也存在显著差异.最终,得到多目标优化下的西北旱区农地适度经营规模区间为0.754~1.386公顷.据此,建议构建分区分类的规模精准管控体系,依据经营规模匹配技术方案,推进多目标协同的适度规模实现路径,完善农地协同治理制度.

Based on the panel data of 114 counties in the northwest arid region spanning from 2008 to 2022,utilizing the sub-vector DEA,panel Tobit and threshold models,this study conducted an empirical analysis of the mechanism and threshold effect of the relationship between farmland production scale and irrigation water use efficiency.Moreover,it explored the interaction between farmland production scale and multiple indicators for the measurement of agricultural efficiency.The results show that the irrigation water use efficiency in the northwestern arid region exhibits a"southward and westward"spatiotemporal evolution trend.Meanwhile,a significant"inverted U-shaped"relationship is observed between farmland production scale and irrigation water use efficiency,with threshold tests showing apparent regional heterogeneity.Furthermore,farmland production scale has an"inverted U-shaped"relationship with total factor productivity and land productivity,and a"U-shaped"relationship with labor productivity.The threshold characteristics of each indicator also differ significantly.Finally,from a multi-objective collaborative perspective,the appropriate farmland production scale interval in the northwestern arid region is observed to be between 0.754 and 1.386 hectares.It is accordingly recommended that a region-specific,scale-precise management system be established,that technical solutions be developed based on the matching of management scale,and that pathways to achieve appropriate scale through multi-objective collaboration be promoted,so as to improve the collaborative governance system for farmland.
