紧密连接蛋白18.2与胃癌临床病理及预后的关系OA

Objective To investigate the relationship between Claudin18.2(CLDN18.2)and the clinicopathological features and prognosis of gastric cancer,and to provide a theoretical basis for identifying new targets for clinical treatment.Methods A retrospective analysis was performed on the case data of 208 patients with gastric cancer.According to the expression status of CLDN18.2,the patients were divided into group A(positive)and group B(negative).Differences in clinicopathological features between the two groups were compared.Logistic regression analysis was used to assess the relationship between CLDN18.2 expression and clinicopathological features,and Kaplan-Meier survival curves were plotted for prognostic analysis.Results Among the 208 patients with gastric cancer,154 were positive for CLDN18.2 expression and 54 were negative.There were statistically significant differences between the two groups in depth of tumor invasion,Lauren classification,degree of tumor differentiation,HER2 status,presence or absence of distant metastasis,lymph node metastasis,tumor diameter,vascular invasion and nerve invasion(all P<0.05).Logistic regression analysis showed that poorly differentiated tumor,tumor invasion depth T3+T4,lymph node metastasis,distant metastasis and diffuse type of Lauren classification were independently associated with positive CLDN18.2 expression in gastric cancer patients(all P<0.05).Kaplan-Meier survival analysis revealed that there was no statistical significance in median overall survival within 5 years between the two groups(Log-rank=0.523,P=0.470).Conclusions The expression of CLDN18.2 in gastric cancer patients is associated with clinicopathological features including tumor differentiation degree,depth of invasion,lymph node metastasis,distant metastasis,and Lauren classification,but is not significantly associated with prognosis.
