粤西云开岩群中"变质超镁铁质岩"的原岩识别OA
Identification of the Protolith of"Meta-ultramafic Rocks"in the Yunkai Group in Western Guangdong
[研究目的]云开地区云开岩群变质表壳岩中赋存多种类型"变质镁铁-超镁铁质岩",识别其原岩对深化云开地区前寒武纪沉积作用和多期幕式造山过程的认识具有重要意义.[研究方法]本文运用锆石年代学和电子探针分析对罗定罗罅"变质超镁铁质岩"开展岩石学和矿物学研究.[研究结果]矿物学分析发现,云开岩群中存在一类主要由富 Ca-Fe-Al 石榴石、富钙的透辉石和钙铁辉石以及绿帘石等组成的"变质超镁铁质岩",与钙矽卡岩矿物组合类似.罗罅样品的全岩地球化学表现为显著高的 CaO(17.8%~20.8%)、MnO(1.28%~2.45%)和低的全碱含量(<1%).地球化学证据表明,这类"变质超镁铁质岩"是富镁钙质碳酸盐岩经历热液交代作用形成.锆石 U-Pb 定年结果显示,其原岩沉积时间晚于 630~519 Ma.[结论]结合已有资料认为,云开岩群中部分"变质超镁铁质岩"的原岩为碳酸盐岩,可能代表了云开地区埃迪卡拉纪至寒武纪早期滨海相细碎屑岩-碳酸盐岩沉积建造的一部分.
[Objective]The meta-supracrustal rocks of the Yunkai Group in the Yunkai area host various types of"meta-mafic-ultramafic rocks."Identifying their protoliths is of great significance for deepening the understanding of Precambrian sedimentation and multiphase episodic orogenic processes in the Yunkai region.[Methods]This study conducts petrological and mineralogical investigations of the"meta-ultramafic rocks"from Luoxia,Luoding,using zircon chronology and electron probe microanalysis.[Results]Minera-logical analysis reveals a type of"meta-ultramafic rock"within the Yunkai Group that is mainly composed of Ca-Fe-Al-rich garnet,Ca-rich diopside and hedenbergite,and epidote,similar to calc-silicate skarn mineral assemblages.Whole-rock geochemistry of the Luoxia samples shows significantly high CaO(17.8-20.8 wt.%),MnO(1.28-2.45 wt.%),and low total alkali contents(<1 wt.%).Geochemical evidence suggests that this type of"meta-ultramafic rock"was formed by hydrothermal metasomatism of magnesian calcareous carbonate rocks.Zircon U-Pb dating indicates that the protolith was deposited later than 630-519 Ma.[Conclusion]Combined with existing data,it is concluded that the protolith of some"meta-ultramafic rocks"in the Yunkai Group is carbonate rock,which may represent part of the Ediacaran to Early Cambrian littoral facies fine-grained clastic-carbonate sedimentary sequence in the Yunkai area.
