微生物学教学改革路径探讨OA

Microbiology is a fundamental course for life-science-related majors,featuring with strong theoretical,practical and interdisciplinary frontier attributes,and plays a crucial role in constructing the knowledge system,shaping scientific thinking and cultivating innovative competence for students majoring in biological science.At present,the Microbiology teaching still faces several challenges as delayed renewal of teaching content,insufficient integration of frontier knowledge,less coordination between theoretical instruction and experimental practice,and inadequate comprehensive and research-oriented training.Taking the Microbiology course in the biological science major as a case,the teaching team of College of Life and Food Science,Inner Mongolia University for Nationalities reconstructed a teaching content system that addressed'equal emphasis to fundamental knowledge and disciplinary frontiers',implemented case-based teaching,problem-based learning,flipped classroom approaches,and introduction of comprehensive design-based experiments and research-oriented training.The results suggested that the reform pathway improves students'knowledge integration ability,experimental operation skills,problem-analysis ability,and innovative awareness through integrating theoretical instruction,frontier extension,experimental training and scientific research practice,and the course teaching quality and talent cultivation outcomes significantly enhanced.
