An introduction is made on the characteristics of plastic concrete,including its physical-mechanical prop-erties and the features of mix proportion.This paper analyzes the potential risks existing in reservoirs such as Dakai Reservoir and Liuchen Reservoir,as well as the advantages of using plastic concrete core walls for reinforcement,in-cluding good deformation adaptability and anti-seepage performance.The key points of design and construction techniques for plastic concrete core walls are discussed.Taking the reinforcement works of Dakai Reservoir and Li-uchen Reservoir as example,the application of plastic concrete core wall in reservoir reinforcement project is dem-onstrated in details.
