基于改进包络提取算法的单模光纤PMD干涉测量研究OA
Improved envelope extraction algorithm for interferometric PMD measurement in single-mode fibers
为了提高光纤链路中偏振模色散(PMD)测量结果的重复性与准确性,设计了一套改进包络提取算法的单模光纤PMD干涉测量系统,并在信号处理环节引入一种结合希尔伯特变换与移动平均滤波的改进包络提取算法,有效抑制了信号波动对群时延差(DGD)计算的影响.实验结果表明:该改进算法将系统测量结果的标准偏差降低至0.003 41 ps;与国外先进仪器EXFO-FTB-5500的对比测试显示,两者在不同类型光纤上的测量结果高度一致.
To enhance the repeatability and accuracy of polarization mode dispersion(PMD)measurements in optical fiber links,a single-mode fiber PMD interferometric measurement system incorporating an improved envelope extraction algorithm is designed.An enhanced envelope extraction algorithm,combining Hilbert transform with moving average filtering,is intro-duced in the signal processing stage to effectively suppress the impact of signal fluctuations on the calculation of differential group delay(DGD).Experimental results demonstrate that the improved algorithm reduces the standard deviation of the system's measurement results to 0.003 41 ps.Comparative tests with the advanced foreign instrument EXFO-FTB-5500 show highly consistent measurement results between the two systems across different types of optical fibers.
