延续性健康教育对口腔颌面肿瘤患者术后心理状态和希望水平的影响OA

Objective:To investigate the effects of continuous health education on postoperative psychological status and hope level of patients with oral and maxillofacial tumors.Methods:A total of 100 patients with oral and maxillofacial tumors who were admitted to the Depart-ment of Head and Neck Surgery of Gansu Provincial Cancer Hospital between October 2023 and October 2024 were enrolled and randomly as-signed to a control group and an observation group,with 50 patients in each group.Routine nursing care was provided to the control group,while continuous health education in addition to routine nursing care was implemented in the observation group.Psychological status and hope level before and after the intervention were assessed using the Self-Rating Anxiety Scale(SAS),the Self-Rating Depression Scale(SDS),and the Herth Hope Index(HHI).Results:After the intervention,no statistically significant differences were observed in SAS or SDS scores in the control group compared with those before the intervention(P>0.05).In contrast,both SAS and SDS scores were significantly lower in the observa-tion group than those before the intervention(P<0.05).In both groups,scores for each HHI dimension and the total HHI score were significantly in-creased after the intervention compared with those before the intervention(P<0.05),and greater improvements were observed in the obser-vation group.Conclusions:continuous health education can alleviate postoperative anxiety and depression to a certain extent and enhance the hope level in patients with oral and maxillofacial tumors,thereby exerting a positive effect on postoperative rehabilitation.
