西香55号作为百香果砧木的潜力分析及系统评价OA
Potential analysis and systematic evaluation of Xixiang 55 as a rootstock for passion fruit
[目的]筛选适宜百香果嫁接栽培的优良砧木品种,评价西香55号作为砧木的应用潜力,并筛选出适宜的砧穗组合.[方法]以西香55号作为试验材料,常规砧木品种长黄511号作为对照,开展以下试验:(1)砧木实生苗对比试验:比较两品种实生苗发芽性状、株高动态及株高生长速率、茎径动态及茎径生长速率、生物量、壮苗指数、冠根比、根系性状及根系吸收效率指数等性状指标,综合评价两个百香果品种实生苗的生长性状差异性;(2)嫁接苗抗病性试验:以两个砧木品种和钦果9号的嫁接苗为材料,在重茬、失管,且茎基腐病、根腐病、疫病等病害发生严重的果园,开展自然发病抗病性鉴定;(3)不同砧穗组合的嫁接亲和性及产量对比试验:以西香55号和长黄511号两个砧木品种分别与以下6个接穗品种组成12个砧穗组合:荷香5号(J1、J2)、台农1号(T1、T2)、DM-1号(D1、D2)、西香5号(X1、X2)、钦果9号(Q1、Q2)和香黄1号(H1、H2),测定嫁接成活率、嫁接苗生长势、内源激素含量、果实品质及产量等指标,并运用相关性分析与主成分分析进行综合评价.[结果](1)西香55号的千粒质量、发芽指数、株高、株高生长速率、茎径、根系发育等方面均显著优于长黄511号(P<0.01),茎径生长速率、根系吸收效率指数显著优于长黄511号(P<0.05),比长黄511号可提前6~10d达到嫁接标准;(2)西香55号与长黄511号的茎基腐病、根腐病、疫病的发病率无显著差异,均表现出较强的抗病性能力.(3)DM-1号、西香5号、钦果9号在西香55号砧木上表现突出,荷香5号、香黄1号在长黄511号砧木上表现突出,台农1号在两个砧木上无显著差异;(4)新芽长度、茎径及穗砧比与嫁接亲和性呈显著或极显著正相关;茉莉酸、激素平衡指数可促进砧穗生长并提升嫁接亲和性,玉米素核苷利于嫁接成活,脱落酸则抑制嫁接亲和性与成活率;嫁接亲和性越好,苗期生长势越强,产量越高;(5)对11个主要性状进行主成分分析,提取4个主成分,累计贡献率达82.047%;(6)基于主成分分析综合评价,得分排名依次为X1>D1>Q1>D2>X2>J2>H2>T2>T1>J1>Q2>H1.[结论]综合评价建议西香5号、DM-1号和钦果9号选用西香55号作为砧木,香黄1号和荷香5号选用长黄511号作为砧木,台农1号可选用西香55号或长黄511号作为砧木,研究为百香果砧木选择与嫁接组合优化提供了理论依据和实践参考.
[Objective]To screen out superior rootstock varieties suitable for grafting propagation of passion fruit,the application potential of Xixiang 55 as a rootstock,was evaluated and the suitable stion(rootstock-scion)combinations were identified.[Methods]Using Xixiang 55 as the experimental mate-rial and the conventional rootstock variety Changhuang 511 as the control,the following experiments were conducted:(1)Comparative evaluation of rootstock potential between two passion fruit varieties:By comparing the thousand-seed weight,germination rate,and germination index of seeds from the two rootstock varieties,the dynamic changes and growth rates of plant height and stem diameter were exam-ined;the biomass-related traits including total fresh weight,total dry weight,shoot dry weight,and root dry weight were measured;the root/shoot ratio and seedling vigor index,as well as root morphological traits such as root length,root surface area,root volume,and root absorption efficiency index of seed-lings from the two rootstock varieties were compared,and differences in seedling growth traits between the two passion fruit varieties were comprehensively evaluated.(2)Disease resistance evaluation of grafted seedlings on two rootstock varieties:Using grafted seedlings on the two rootstock varieties with Qinguo 9 as the scion,disease resistance was assessed under natural infection conditions in orchards with continuous cropping,poor management,and severe incidence of stem base rot,root rot,and phy-tophthora blight.(3)Comparative evaluation of grafting compatibility and yield among different root-stock-scion combinations:A total of 12 stion combinations were established by grafting Xixiang 55 and Changhuang 511 with the scion varieties Hexiang 5(J1,J2),Tainong 1(Tl,T2),DM-1(D1,D2),Xixi-ang 5(X1,X2),Qinguo 9(Q1,Q2),and Xianghuang 1(X1,X2)(nomenclature detailed in Table 1;the same below).Differences among the combinations were compared in terms of grafting survival rate,post-grafting seedling survival,new shoot length,new shoot diameter,rootstock diameter,scion diame-ter,and scion-to-rootstock diameter ratio.In addition,six endogenous hormones in leaves-zeatin ribo-side,gibberellin,indole-3-acetic acid,abscisic acid,jasmonic acid,and the hormonal balance index-were measured.Field performance of the grafted seedlings was further evaluated,including single fruit weight,edible rate,soluble solids content,and yield.Correlation analysis and principal component anal-ysis were conducted to comprehensively evaluate the different stion combinations.[Results](1)Xixi-ang 55 significantly outperformed Changhuang 511 in thousand-seed weight,germination index,plant height,plant height growth rate,stem diameter,root length,root surface area,and root volume,and was significantly superior in stem diameter growth rate and root absorption efficiency index,indicating that Xixiang 55 reached the grafting standard 6-10 days earlier than Changhuang 511.No significant differ-ences were observed in germination rate,total fresh weight,total dry weight,shoot dry weight,root dry weight,root-shoot ratio,or seedling vigor index,indicating that the overall seedling quality of Xixiang 55 and Changhuang 511 was comparable.(2)In the disease resistance trials,no significant differences were observed between Xixiang 55 and Changhuang 511 in the incidence of stem base rot,root rot,or phytophthora blight,with both exhibiting strong disease resistance.(3)In the comparative evaluation of grafting compatibility and yield among different stion combinations,17 traits were measured,including graft survival rate,new shoot length,new shoot diameter,rootstock diameter,scion diameter,scion-to-rootstock diameter ratio,zeatin riboside,gibberellin,indole-3-acetic acid,abscisic acid,jasmonic acid,hormonal balance index,single fruit weight,edible rate,soluble solids content,and yield.The results in-dicated that DM-1,Xixiang 5,and Qinguo 9 performed best on the Xixiang 55 rootstock,while Hexiang 5 and Xianghuang 1 performed best on the Changhuang 511 rootstock;Tainong 1 showed no significant differences between the two rootstocks.(4)Correlation analysis showed that new shoot length,stem diameter,and scion-to-rootstock diameter ratio were significantly or highly significantly and positively correlated with grafting compatibility.Jasmonic acid and the hormonal balance index pro-moted rootstock-scion growth and enhanced grafting compatibility,while zeatin riboside favored graft survival.In contrast,abscisic acid inhibited grafting compatibility and survival rate.Furthermore,better grafting compatibility was associated with stronger seedling vigor and higher yield.(5)Principal com-ponent analysis was performed on 11 key traits,extracting four principal components with a cumulative contribution rate of 82.047%,and the principal component Pl mainly comprised JA,HBI,yield,and new shoot length.P2 mainly comprised new shoot diameter,IAA,ABA,and the scion-to-rootstock ra-tio.P3 mainly comprised survival rate and ZR and P4 mainly comprised GA.(6)Based on the compre-hensive evaluation from the principal component analysis,the ranking of scores was as follows:X1>D1>Q1>D2>X2>J2>H2>T2>T1>J1>Q2>H1.[Conclusion]This study provides a theoretical basis and practical reference for rootstock selection and optimization of grafting combina-tions in passion fruit.Based on the comprehensive evaluation,it is recommended that Xixiang 5,DM-1,and Qinguo 9 be grafted onto Xixiang 55 rootstock;Xianghuang 1 and Hexiang 5 be grafted onto Chan-ghuang 511 rootstock;Tainong 1 may be grafted onto either Xixiang 55 or Changhuang 511 rootstock.
