尿毒症患者合并新冠病毒感染继发海绵窦血栓1例OA
A case report of cavernous sinus thrombosis secondary to COVID-19 in a patient with uremia
目的 本文报道了1例尿毒症患者新型冠状病毒感染后,慢性鼻窦炎致海绵窦血栓的诊治及预后,希望为海绵窦血栓患者的临床早期识别及治疗提供经验,旨在提高临床医师对本病的认识.方法 回顾1例尿毒症患者合并新冠病毒感染继发海绵窦血栓的临床资料,因未及时诊断,治疗后症状无明显缓解.结果 家属拒绝进一步检查,并放弃一切有创抢救措施,患者死亡.结论 早期、快速诊断及及时治疗,可能降低该病的病死率.
Objective This article reports the diagnosis,treatment,and prognosis of a case of cavernous sinus thrombosis secondary to chronic sinusitis following COVID-19 infection in a patient with uremic,aiming to provide experience for the early clinical identification and treatment of cavernous sinus thrombosis(CST)and to enhance clinicians'understanding of this disease.Methods The clinical data of a patient with uremia who developed cavernous sinus thrombosis secondary to COVID-19 infection were retrospectively reviewed.Due to delayed diagnosis,the treatment did not result in significant symptomatic relief.Results The patient's family refused further examinations and all invasive rescue measures,resulting in the patient's death.Conclusions Early and rapid diagnosis along with timely treatment may reduce the mortality rate of this disease.
