研究贺兰山中段中元古界长城系黄旗口组的岩石类型、沉积特征和沉积环境,探讨研究区中元古界长城系碎屑岩的物源方向及构造沉积环境,为该区的长城系岩相古地理重建及油气勘探提供重要的参考依据.本文通过野外露头及详细的显微镜下观察,利用碎屑岩主量、微量及稀土元素分析数据,研究长城系黄旗口组碎屑岩沉积环境、沉积演化及沉积模式.结果表明,长城系黄旗口组主要为灰白、紫红色中-厚层—薄层状中-细粒石英砂岩、石英岩状砂岩,碎屑颗粒分选及磨圆度好,为高成熟度砂岩,波痕及潮汐层理发育.整体形成于温暖湿润气候条件下的微咸水—半咸水滨岸环境,具有水体浅、水动力条件强的特点,且以氧化环境为主,局部可能存在氧化—弱还原的过渡环境.物源主要为贺兰山北段的同碰撞期S型花岗岩.长城纪初期开始海侵,在古元古界赵池沟岩群之上沉积了黄旗口组下段以紫红色中-细粒石英岩状砂岩和石英砂岩为主的滨岸相碎屑岩.随着海侵进一步扩大,形成黄旗口组中段暗色细粒的潮坪沉积.黄旗口组上段在持续海侵中形成,沉积了一套以灰白色—白色石英岩状砂岩和灰白色、白色、浅肉红色白云岩、泥质白云岩为主的低能序列,在此之上发育蓟县系陆表海碳酸盐岩台地沉积.

This study focuses on the lithological composition,sedimentary features,and paleoenvironmental conditions of the Huangqikou Formation within the Mesoproterozoic Changcheng System in the middle part of the Helan Mountains.The research further examines the provenance signatures and tectonic-depositional setting of Changcheng System clastic rocks,offering critical geological constraints for lithofacies paleogeographic reconstruction and petroleum potential assessment in this stratigraphic unit.Integrated field outcrop observations and petrographic analyses were performed on the Huangqikou Formation clastic rocks in the middle part of the Helan Mountains,combined with systematic geochemical characterization of major,trace,and rare earth elements(REE).These investigations elucidate the sedimentary environment,depositional evolution,and sedimentary model.The Huangqikou Formation of the Changcheng System is predominantly composed of grayish-white to purplish-red,medium-to thick-bedded(locally thin-bedded)medium-to fine-grained quartz sandstones and quartzitic sandstones.These clastic rocks exhibit good sorting and rounding,indicating high textural maturity.Sedimentary structures including wave ripples and tidal bedding are well developed.The formation is interpreted to have been deposited in a brackish to semi-saline shoreface environment under warm and humid climatic conditions,characterized by:shallow water,strong hydrodynamic energy,predominantly oxidizing conditions,with localized transitional zones of oxic to weakly reducing environments.Provenance analysis reveals that the detrital components were overwhelmingly derived from syn-collisional,S-type granites in the northern Helan Mountains orogenic belt.During the early stage of the Changchengian Period(Early Mesoproterozoic),a marine transgression commenced,resulting in the deposition of the lower member of the Huangqikou Formation unconformably over the Paleoproterozoic Zhaochigou Group.This basal succession is dominated by shoreface facies clastic rocks.With the progressive marine transgression,the middle member of the Huangqikou Formation developed,characterized by dark fine-grained tidal flat deposits.The Upper Huangqikou Formation was deposited during sustained marine transgression,consisting of a low-energy sequence dominated by greyish-white quartzitic sandstone interbedded with greyish-white,pale pinkish-red dolomite and argillaceous dolomite.These deposits are overlain by the Jixian System,which represents the shallow-marine carbonate platform deposits.
