数字时代的地图泛化与GIS升维OA

Extending Maps and Expanding GIS in the Digital Era

经典地图学建立于地图投影、制图综合与符号系统三大理论之上,其二维静态的表达在面对数字时代的多元化应用场景时适应性日益不足.信息通信技术不断重塑地图学的技术范式与应用边界,观测技术的进步、表达能力的提升和应用需求的扩展使得地图逐渐呈现泛化特征.GIS渊源于地图学,地图的泛化又为GIS数据组织、空间分析和可视化的发展带来了新动力.本文分析了地图泛化的动因和GIS升维的路径,探讨了地图泛化推动GIS升维的逻辑,并以深圳市智慧城市案例展现了两者在数字时代下的内涵与外延变化.

Classical cartography is established upon the three theoretical pillars of map projection,map generalization,and map symbology.However,its two-dimensional,static representations are becoming increasingly inadequate when confronted with the diversified application scenarios of the digital era.Information and communication technology is continuously reshaping the technical paradigms and application boundaries of cartography.Advancements in observation techniques,the enhancement of representational capabilities,and the expansion of appli-cation demands have gradually led maps to exhibit a generalized character.While geographic information systems(GIS)originated from cartography,this character has,in turn,provided a new impetus for the development of GIS data organization,spatial analysis,and visualization.This paper analyzed the drivers of extending maps and the pathways for expanding GIS,and explored the underlying logic by which the former facilitated the latter.Finally,taking the smart city development of Shenzhen City,Guangdong Province as a case study,the paper demonstrated the evolution of both concepts'connotations and denotations within the digital era.
