柔性直流系统的架空线路部分时常发生接地故障等一系列故障,为保障电压源换流器型直流输电(Voltage Source Converter HVDC,VSC-HVDC)系统的可靠运行,对故障进行准确定位尤为重要.提出一种附加自振回路的柔性直流输电线路故障测距新方法,该方案从无功功率与线路电感电容的相关性出发,在直流大电容上附加一个能够在跳闸后重新并入系统的自振回路,并利用回路提供的无功功率、电流以及自振频率作为判据.通过测量所得的线路无功以及电流得到感抗的数值.并通过求平均值处理得到电感数值来进行故障测距.最后利用PSCAD\EMTDC软件搭建了仿真模型,仿真验证了所提方案不受过渡电阻的影响,能够有效地进行故障测距,且该方案仅需使用单端量进行测距,可以满足柔性直流输电线路的故障测距要求.

Flexible DC transmission lines are subject to a range of faults,including ground faults,from time to time.To ensure the reliable operation of the voltage source converter HVDC(VSC-HVDC)sys-tem,it is necessary to study its fault ranging technology.A new method of fault ranging for flexible DC transmission lines with additional self-oscillation loops is proposed.The scheme starts from the fact that reactive power is related to line inductance-capacitance,and a self-oscillating loop is attached to the large DC capacitor that can be re-integrated into the system after a trip,and use the reactive power and current provided by the circuit and the self-oscillation frequency as a criterion.The inductance wave-form is obtained by measuring the resulting line reactive power and current,and the inductance value is obtained by averaging to perform fault ranging.Finally,a simulation model is built using PSCAD/EMT-DC software,which verifies that the proposed scheme is not affected by the transition resistance and is ef-fective for fault location.The proposed scheme can meet the fault ranging requirements of flexible DC transmission lines by using only single-ended quantities for ranging.
