Patterns and Driving Factors of Phylogenetic Diversity of Woody Angiosperms in Maolan Karst Forest

以茂兰喀斯特森林木本被子植物为研究对象,采用线性混合效应模型及 Mantel 检验的多元回归分析方法,系统分析了群落整体以及不同径级阶段的谱系 α 多样性和 β 多样性格局及其驱动因素.结果表明:①所有样地的群落 α 多样性(SES.MPD,谱系结构)和 β 多样性(SES.betaMPD,谱系组成差异)均与随机情况无差异;②不同地形生境中,山顶群落谱系 α 多样性(谱系结构值<0)和 β 多样性(谱系组成差异值<0)均呈现出收敛结构;山腰群落谱系 α 多样性和 β 多样性均与随机情况无差异;③群落谱系 α 多样性随土壤钙质量分数升高而减小(谱系结构更加收敛);群落 β 多样性随地形和岩石裸露率差异增大而上升(谱系组成差异更大).研究结果提示,地形和土壤条件等因子所介导的生境过滤过程可能是驱动茂兰喀斯特森林群落构建的重要生态学过程.

Taking woody angiosperms in the Maolan Karst Forest as the research object,this study systematically analyzed the patterns and driving factors of phylogenetic α and β diversity at the overall community level and different diameter classes by adopting linear mixed-effects models and multiple regression analysis based on the Mantel test.The results showed that:(1)Community phylogenetic α diversity(SES.MPD,phylogenetic structure)and phylogenetic β diversity(SES.be-taMPD,phylogenetic compositional difference)of communities in all plots differed from the null expectation.(2)Regard-ing different topographic habitats,the communities on hilltops exhibited a convergent structure in both phylogenetic α di-versity(phylogenetic structure value<0)and β diversity(phylogenetic compositional difference value<0),while both phy-logenetic α and β diversity of mid-slope communities showed no significant deviation from the null expectation.(3)Com-munity phylogenetic α diversity decreased with the increase of soil calcium mass fraction,indicating a more clustered phy-logenetic structure,community β diversity increased with the difference in topography and rock bare rate,presenting grea-ter phylogenetic compositional dissimilarity.The findings suggest that habitat filtering mediated by topographic and soil conditions may serve as a crucial ecological process driving the community assembly of Maolan Karst Forest.
