Stance Expression Function and Influencing Factors of Modal Value
情态类词语的量值有高低之分,量值高低具有立场表达功能,除了可以体现交际主体的态度、情感外,还可以定位交际主体的社会权位和认识权位.不同情态量值的选择除了受社会权位、认识权位制约外,与事件重要程度、文化偏好(个人偏好)、受众接受度等亦密切相关.
Modal values vary in degree(high or low)and serve a crucial function in stance expression.Beyond reflecting the attitudes and emotions of communicative subjects,modal values help position their social and epis-temic authority.The selection of specific modal values is not only constrained by social and epistemic authority but is also closely related to event importance,cultural(or personal)preferences,and audience acceptance.
