Review of research on climbing robots for irregular vertical structures
攀爬机器人作为一种独特的机器人类别,专门设计用于在垂直或倾斜表面进行高效移动.这些机器人极大提高了在危险环境中作业的安全性,减少了人员伤亡的风险,显著提升了工作效率和成本效益.攀爬机器人需要在攀爬任务中适应各种类型的不规则垂直结构,其设计面临着极大的挑战.论文主要介绍了攀爬机器人附着方式、运动方式等关键技术,分析了这些技术的优势与不足,并对攀爬钢桥、输电塔和风力涡轮机叶片等不规则垂直结构的机器人研究进行了综合论述.
Climbing robots constitute a unique category of robotic systems specifically designed for efficient locomotion on vertical or inclined surfaces.These robots significantly enhance operational safety in hazardous environments by reducing risks to human workers,while simultaneously improving task efficiency and cost-effectiveness.To accomplish climbing tasks in real-world applications,climbing robots must adapt to a wide variety of irregular vertical structures,posing substantial challenges to their design and implementation.This paper reviews the key technologies underlying climbing robots,with a particular focus on adhesion mechanisms and locomotion methods.The advantages and limitations of different adhesion and movement strategies are systematically analyzed and compared.Furthermore,the study provides a comprehensive overview of recent research on climbing robots designed for irregular vertical structures,including steel bridges,transmission towers,and wind turbine blades.By summarizing current developments and technological challenges,this review offers valuable insights into the design,optimization,and future development of climbing robots for complex vertical environments.
