"十五五"时期中国经济社会发展主要目标与指标OACHSSCD

Based on the principal objectives for the economic and social development during the 15th Five-Year Plan period as set out in the Proposals of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China on Formulating the 15th Five-Year Plan for National Economic and Social Development,this study designs a set of major quantitative indicators and,in parallel,benchmarks the relevant development indicators of China's 31 provinces,municipalities,and autonomous regions against those of 38 OECD member countries.The results of the study fully demonstrate:that China has achieved remarkable results in economic development at the stage of high-quality development;scientific and technological innovation occupies a core position in the overall endeavor of advancing Chinese modernization;China's capacity for achieving greater self-reliance and strength in science and technology has been significantly enhanced;the life quality of the Chinese people continues improving due to those fields,such as increases in residents' incomes keeping pace with economic growth,promotion in high-quality and full employment,further optimization and sustainability of the social security system,and markedly rise in the level of equalization in access to basic public services;and that major new progresses in building a"Beautiful China"have been made in the fields like green production methods and lifestyles largely taking shape,the goal of peaking carbon emissions having been achieved on schedule,China's ultra-large-scale green energy system leading the global green energy revolution,the total emissions of major pollutants continuing to fall,and the diversity,stability,and sustainability of ecosystems being continuously enhanced.All these achievements lay a solid foundation to basically realize the goal of socialist modernization by 2035.
