Modification of recycled polypropylene and its application in building formwork

使用[2,2′-甲基二(4,6-二-三丁基苯基)]磷酸铝(NA-21)与芥酸酰胺(EAM)进行物理复配制得NA-21E复配成核剂,并对回收聚丙烯(rPP)进行改性,研究了复配前后NA-21对rPP结晶、力学及阻燃性能的影响.结果表明,EAM作为复配物能够显著改善NA-21在rPP基体中的分散性,而且氮磷协效阻燃体系的形成明显改善了rPP的阻燃性能,使其LOI提高了5.1%;rPP的结晶速率、冲击强度和弯曲强度随着NA-21分散性的改善得到了大幅提高,其力学性能完全高于JGT 418-2013中带肋塑料模板的力学性能标准,使得rPP有极大潜力应用于建筑用塑料模板领域.

A composite nucleating agent(NA-21E)was prepared by physically compounding aluminium hydroxybis[2,2′-methylenebis(4,6-di-tert-butylphenyl)phosphate](NA-21)with erucic acid amide(EAM),and this agent was used to modify recycled polypropylene(rPP).The effects of NA-21(before and after compounding)on the crystallization be-havior,mechanical properties,and flame-retardant performance of rPP were systematically investigated.The results in-dicated that EAM,as a composite component,significantly improve the dispersibility of NA-21 in the rPP matrix.More-over,the as-prepared nitrogen-phosphorus synergistic flame-retardant system remarkably enhances the flame-retardant performance of rPP,increasing its limiting oxygen index by 5.1%.With the improved dispersibility of NA-21,the crys-tallization rate,impact strength,and flexural strength of rPP are significantly enhanced.Its mechanical properties fully meet the mechanical performance standards for ribbed plastic formwork specified in JGT 418-2013,endowing rPP with great application potential in the field of construction plastic formwork.
