To screen soybean varieties suitable for soybean-maize strip intercropping in the Hexi Corridor,26 soybean varieties(lines)were evaluated based on agronomic traits.A comprehensive evaluation was conducted using the entropy weight method and grey relational analysis.The results showed that effective branches per plant had the highest coefficient of variation(48.5%),followed by plant height and grain number per plant.Yield was most strongly correlated with grain number per plant.The comprehensive evaluation indicated that lodging had the highest weight(0.242),followed by plant height(0.121).The top five soybean varieties(lines)based on weighted grey relational grade were Zhonghuang 30(0.790),Longdou 661-8020(0.742),Changnong 42(0.729),Longdou 7(0.712),and Longdou 6221-15(0.709).These varieties(lines)are suitable candidates for selection and breeding in soybean-maize intercropping systems.
