Danish swine breeding is characterized by long-termism,organizational structure,data-driven approaches,and collaborative mechanism.Its PSY has consistently ranked among the world's highest for many years.This paper focuses on analyzing the causes and practices contributing to Denmark's high PSY performance.Drawing insights for China's swine industry,this study proposes establishing a breeding system integrating vertical integration with horizontal collaboration,advancing a biosecurity system centered on key diseases eradication,strengthening foundational investments,and deepening industry-academia-research integration.These recommendations aim to support high-quality development of China's swine industry.
