气象超算系统资源数据管理与可视化技术研究OA

Research on Technologies of Resource Data Management and Data Visualization for Meteorological Supercomputing Systems

中国气象局已建成分布于北京、内蒙古、陕西三地的大规模超算算力和智能算力系统,为气象数值预报业务提供高性能计算服务.为加强多元异构算力系统管理,有效提高系统资源利用率,实现系统用户应用等多维度的资源监控和资源度量,需要对算力系统资源海量数据进行有效管理.该文首先从概念上阐述了气象超算算力资源的定义和管理方式,提出气象超算系统和智能算力系统中资源的统一度量模型,基于模型设计资源使用量和计费算法.在此基础上提出系统资源数据监控、采集、存储、度量、计费和可视化流程方案,整套方案采用 ELK 技术栈构建分布式数据管理架构实现,基于 Slurm 软件采集系统和作业数据,使用 Elasticsearch 引擎和 Logstash 完成数据处理和存储,并通过 Kibana 软件实现数据的可视化.最后使用实际案例阐明可视化技术在系统管理中发挥的有效作用.

The China Meteorological Administration(CMA)has established large-scale supercomputing and intelligent computing systems distributed in Beijing,Inner Mongolia,and Shaanxi.These systems provide high-performance computing services for meteorological numerical forecasting operations.To enhance the management of diverse and heterogeneous computing power systems,improve system resource utilization,and complete the solutions of resource monitoring and metric for systems,end-users and applications,it is necessary to effectively manage the vast amounts of data related to these system resources.We explain the definitions and management methodologies of meteorological supercomputing resources.A unified metric model for resources of supercomputing and intelligent computing systems is proposed,and usage algorithm and charging algorithm are designed by the model.Based on the research,the solutions to monitoring,collection,storage,metric,charging and visualization of system resources data are proposed.The scheme leverages a distributed data management architecture inspired by the ELK(Elasticsearch,Logstash,Kibana)stack.System and job data are collected from Slurm,with data processing and storage facilitated by the Elasticsearch and Logstash.Data visualization is achieved through the Kibana.Finally,some actual cases are introduced in order to explain the effect in system management of data visualization.
