四川盆地蓬莱—南充地区茅二段高频层序划分及滩体分布特征OA
High-frequency sequence division and shoal distribution in the second member of Maokou Formation in Penglai-Nanchong area,Sichuan Basin
二叠系中统茅口组是四川盆地重要的含气层位之一,主要发育白云岩滩体,其厚度薄、非均质性强、受层序控制明显,高频层序可反映短周期的海平面波动,进而控制浅水碳酸盐岩的沉积相带迁移.目前对该盆地蓬莱—南充地区茅口组高频层序及其控制下的滩体演化与分布的研究较少.为此,基于研究区地震、岩心、薄片、测井等资料,建立了茅口组高频层序地层格架,识别并划分微相类型,构建了滩体演化、迁移与高频层序的响应关系,并分析了高频层序下滩体平面分布特征.研究结果表明:①研究区茅口组可划分为3个三级层序和11个四级层序,各三级层序均由海侵体系域和高位体系域构成;②沉积旋回表现为"滩间海—生屑滩—砂屑滩""生屑滩—砂屑滩""滩间海—生屑滩""砂屑滩—砂屑滩""生屑滩—生屑滩"等组合特征,其类型受四级海平面变化及沉积微地貌的综合控制,砂屑滩易白云岩化,为有利滩体;③有利滩体主要发育于茅二上亚段,厚度介于5~16 m;平面上,台地边缘有利滩体在SSQ7,主要分布于PY10井区,SSQ8主要分布于PY10井区和PS2井区;开阔台地的有利滩体主要分布在SSQ9的PS12—NC2井区.结论认为:针对该区茅二段白云岩滩体的油气勘探应以四级层序控制下的微地貌刻画为主,重点围绕微地貌中的高部位进行.
The Middle Permian Maokou Formation is a critical gas-bearing interval in the Sichuan Basin.It mainly develops dolomite shoals,which are thin,highly heterogeneous,and significantly controlled by sequences.High-frequency sequences can reflect short-period seal level fluctuations,thereby controlling sedimentary facies migration of shallow-water carbonates.So far,the high-frequency sequences and their controls on shoal evolution and distribution in the Penglai-Nanchong area of the Sichuan Basin have been rarely studied.Based on seismic data,core observations,thin section identification,and logging data,the high-frequency sequence stratigraphic framework of the Maokou Formation in the study area was established.The microfacies were identified and classified,and the responding relationship between shoal evolution,migration and high-frequency sequences was defined.Moreover,the planar distribution of shoals under the control of high-frequency sequences was analyzed.Results show that(i)the Maokou Formation can be divided into 3 third-order sequences(SQ1-SQ3)and 11 fourth-order sequences(SSQ1-SSQ11).Each third-order sequence consists of a transgressive system tract and a highstand system tract;(ii)the sedimentary cycles present multiple assemblage sequences,including intershoal sea-bioclastic shoal-psammitic shoal,bioclastic shoal-psammitic shoal,intershoal sea-bioclastic shoal,psammitic shoal-psammitic shoal,and bioclastic shoal-bioclastic shoal.The types of sedimentary cycles are jointly governed by fourth-order sea-level fluctuations and sedimentary microgeomorphology.Psammitic shoals are susceptible to dolomitization and constitute favorable shoal reservoirs;and(iii)favorable shoals are mainly developed in the upper part of Mao-2 Member,with a thickness ranging from 5 to 16 meters.At platform margins,favorable shoals are mainly distributed in SSQ7 of the Well PY10 area as well as in SSQ8 of the Well PY10 and Well PS2 areas.Also,within open platforms,favorable shoals are concentrated in SSQ9 of the Well PS12-NC2 area.It is concluded that the exploration of the Mao-2 Member dolomite shoals in the Penglai-Nanchong area should focus on fine characterization of micro-geomorphology constrained by fourth-order sequences,especially the micro-geomorphic highlands.
