Chronic kidney disease(CKD)is characterized by insidious onset and protracted course,with no specific therapeutic measures.Conventional Western medicine treatment is prone to induce adverse reactions,and secondary multiple organ damage and systemic metabolic disorders may occur with disease progression.Traditional Chinese medicine possesses unique advantages in the clinical diagnosis and treatment of CKD.Against the background that the drastic purgation method is commonly adopted in the clinical treatment of kidney diseases,Professor WANG Tieliang attaches great importance to the function of the spleen and stomach.This article summarized his medication experience of regulating the spleen and stomach for CKD treatment from three aspects:ascending clear Yang,descending turbid pathogens,and mild purgation based on the middle energizer.The method of ascending clear Yang commonly used Puerariae Lobatae Radix and Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma;the method of descending turbid pathogens often adopted Rhei Radix et Rhizoma and Coptidis Rhizoma;the method of mild purgation based on the middle energizer mostly applied modified compatibility of Jiao Sanxian.Meanwhile,one typical medical case was attached to confirm the clinical practical effect of this therapeutic strategy.
