Construction of Two Types of Quaternary Locally Repairable Codes with Small Code Length

在分布式存储系统中,实现数据的快速修复具有重大意义,局部修复码(LRC)能够有效地提高修复效率.首先利用射影cap构造码长127≤n≤252且距离为4的局部修复码,证明所构造的局部修复码均达到Singleton-Like界或Cadambe-Mazumdar界,即S-L最优或C-M 最优.其次由维数的部分已知最优线性码(BKLC)的生成矩阵,利用多种方法,设法构造出码长25≤n≤110且局部度较小的局部修复码,并证明其中部分码是C-M 最优的.

Efficient data repair is of great significance in distributed storage systems,and locally repairable codes(LRCs)can effectively enhance repair efficiency.Firstly,projective caps are utilized to construct LRCs with a code length 127≤n≤252 and a distance of 4.It is proved that all the constructed LRCs a-chieve either the Singleton-Like bound or the Cadambe-Mazumdar bound,i.e.,they are Singleton-Like(S-L)optimal or Cadambe-Mazumdar(C-M)optimal.Secondly,based on the generator matrices of some known optimal linear codes(BKLCs)with a dimension of 5,multiple methods are adopted to construct LRCs with small locality when the code length is length 25≤n≤110.It is also proved that some of these constructed LRCs are C-M optimal.
