Objective This study aims to analyze research trends and hotspots in the field of pediatric suppurative arthritis from 2014 to 2024 using bibliometric methods,providing references for clinical practice and scientific research.Methods Utilizing CiteSpace and VOS-viewer software,a multidimensional analysis was conducted on 232 English articles from the Web of Science database,including as-pects such as publication volume,core research countries,authors,journal contributions,and keyword clustering.Results The volume of publications showed fluctuating growth,peaking in 2022(n=154).The United States emerged as the core research country(40.52%),with key authors including Ceroni Dimitri(6 articles)and Kocher MS(120 co-citations).The Journal of Pediatric Orthopedics led in publication volume(35 articles).Keyword clustering revealed"septic arthritis""children"and"osteomyelitis"as high-frequency themes.The research progression is divided into three distinct phases:the diagnostic technology-driven phase(2015-2018),the treat-ment optimization phase(2018-2020),and the subtyping and collaboration phase(2021-2024).Conclusion Highlighting that moni-toring drug-resistant bacteria,molecular diagnostic technologies,and multidisciplinary collaboration are likely to become future research hotspots in the field of pediatric suppurative arthritis.
