Basic experiment for Pourbaix diagram analysis and electrochemical performance optimization based on"bipolar"technology
本实验针对无机化学电势-pH图(也称Pourbaix图)教学难点,融合"双极"技术设计可视化实验.以海藻酸钠为原料合成双极膜并装配电池,探究pH与过电位对电池电压的影响.本实验采用线上线下混合教学与分层拓展实验的模式,实现跨学科知识融合.实验操作简便、试剂安全、成本低,可强化学生理论认知与创新思维,适合本科教学推广.
This study addresses the pedagogical challenges associated with Pourbaix diagrams in inorganic chemistry by incorporating bipolar membrane technology to develop a visualized experimental approach.Utilizing sodium alginate as the raw material,we fabricated a bipolar membrane and constructed an electrochemical cell to systematically investigate the effects of pH and overpotential on cell voltage.The experiment employs a blended online-offline teaching methodology with tiered experimental modules,facilitating interdisciplinary knowledge integration.Characterized by operational simplicity,reagent safety,and cost-effectiveness,this approach enhances students'theoretical understanding and innovative thinking,making it particularly suitable for undergraduate chemistry education.
