Micro-Shear Testing of Q490SD Steel Welded Joints Using Different Submerged Arc Welding Processes

双丝埋弧焊具有焊接效率高、焊缝质量好等优点,广泛应用于大型水电站压力结构的制造.本文采用微型剪切试验,研究了Q490SD钢双丝埋弧焊焊接接头在不同焊接速度(55 cm/min,60 cm/min,65 cm/min,70 cm/min)条件下,抗剪切强度与压入率的问题.研究结果为:双丝埋弧焊的接头与单丝埋弧焊相同,塑性比较好,剪切强度也比较高;双丝埋弧焊在线能量控制在28~40 kJ/cm时,焊接接头的质量都能达到标准要求;并且随着焊接速度的提高,粗晶区的晶粒尺寸从80.0 μm细化到47.6 μm,晶粒度等级从4.0级升提高到5.5级,晶粒大小细化与晶粒度的提高,可以同时提高材料的韧性和塑性;特别地,在这种线能量范围内,焊接速度为60 cm/min和70 cm/min的焊接接头,如果能够保持焊接电流和电压的一致性,质量就比较高.

Double-wire submerged arc welding has the advantages of high welding efficiency and good weld quality,and is widely used in the manufacturing of pressure structures in large hydropower stations.This paper uses micro-shear tests to study the shear strength and indentation rate of Q490SD steel double-wire submerged arc welded joints under different weld-ing speeds(55 cm/min,60 cm/min,65 cm/min,70 cm/min).Results show that the welded joints of double-wire submerged arc welding have the same plasticity and higher shear strength as those of single-wire submerged arc welding.When the line energy of double-wire submerged arc welding is controlled between 28 and 40 kJ/cm,the quality of the welded joints can meet the standard requirements.Moreover,as the welding speed increases,the grain size in the coarse-grained zone is re-fined from 80.0 μm to 47.6 μm,and the grain size is improved from 4.0 to 5.5.The refinement of grain size and the improve-ment of grain size can simultaneously enhance the toughness and plasticity of the material.Particularly,within this range of line energy,the welded joints with welding speeds of 60 cm/min and 70 cm/min have higher quality if the consistency of welding current and voltage can be maintained.
