乡村短视频研究的知识图谱、元议题与理论建构愿景OACHSSCD

As a cognitive phenomenon,research on rural short videos has undergone a shift from representational studies to practice-oriented inquiries,and from examining"the countryside in short videos"to"short videos in the countryside".Existing scholarship is rooted in reflexive reflections on the modernization trajectory from"community"to"society",implicitly revealing researchers'nostalgia for community and their concern for publicness amid the fragmentation of rural life.However,structural approaches to rural publicness-often characterized by abstraction,repetition,and internal contradictions-struggle to capture the underlying logic and complex mechanisms through which short videos shape rural public life.This patterned mode of thinking reflects a neglect of vibrant,lived"everyday practices",while also embodying a form of collective unconscious shaped by one-dimensional assumptions of technological empowerment.Such assumptions obscure the complex,localized practices of rural short video creators.Drawing on the theoretical trajectory of media sociology,this study proposes a practice-oriented framework grounded in a"media-space"perspective,alongside a typological"process-event"analytical approach.Through this lens,the paper aims to outline a theoretical vision for understanding how short video practices contribute to the reconstruction of rural communities.
