热再生沥青混合料微波加热自愈性能研究OA
Study on self-healing performance of hot recycled asphalt mixture under microwave heating
[目的]在环境与资源的约束下,道路废旧沥青混合料(reclaimed asphalt pavement,RAP)已广泛应用于众多改扩建再生项目.然而,与传统新铺沥青路面相比,这些再生路面更容易出现开裂隐患,其长期服役性能也会受到影响.针对热再生沥青路面易开裂且自愈合行为尚不明确的问题,本研究旨在通过引入微波加热技术,量化探究其开裂损伤的自愈合性能,以明确关键影响因素与作用机制,为提升再生路面的耐久性提供技术依据.[方法]本研究设计了3组再生沥青混合料组及1组新拌基质沥青混合料组,系统分析了微波加热时长、拌和时间及旧料老化程度对再生沥青混合料自愈性能的影响,并将其与传统新拌基质沥青混合料组的自愈结果进行了对比.[结果]再生沥青混合料虽具备自愈能力,但达到与新料相近的自愈率需更长的微波加热时间与更高的愈合温度.同时,新旧沥青融合度与旧沥青老化属性亦显著影响自愈行为.在短期微波作用下,融合不充分或掺入的旧料老化程度更严重,自愈过程主要依靠较软的新质沥青部分,这部分在微波加热下被激活软化,发挥了良好的愈合作用;而在长期微波加热下,新旧沥青均能被充分软化,3组再生组的自愈率为80%~91%,接近新料水平,但须注意局部沥青软化与松散风险.[结论]微波加热技术可有效促进再生沥青路面裂缝愈合,但其自愈行为受新旧沥青融合度、旧沥青属性及微波加热时长共同影响.在实际应用中,应合理选用微波加热时长,以平衡其自愈效果与松散鼓胀风险.
[Purposes]Under the constraints of environment and resources,reclaimed asphalt pavement(RAP)is widely used in numerous reconstruction and extension recycling projects.However,compared with traditional newly-paved asphalt pavement,the recycled pavement is more prone to cracking hazards,and its long-term service performance is affected.In view of the problems that hot recycled asphalt pavement is prone to cracking,and its self-healing behavior remains unclear,this study aims to quantitatively investigate the self-healing performance of its cracking damage by introducing microwave heating technology to clarify the key influencing factors and mechanisms and provide a technical basis for improving the durability of recycled pavement.[Methods]Three recycled asphalt mixture groups and one newly-mixed base asphalt mixture group were designed.The effects of microwave heating duration,mixing time,and aging degree of aged materials on the self-healing performance of recycled asphalt mixture were systematically analyzed,and the self-healing results were compared with those of the traditional newly-mixed base asphalt mixture group.[Results]Although the recycled asphalt mixture possesses self-healing ability,a longer microwave heating duration and a higher healing temperature are required to achieve a self-healing rate similar to that of the new mixture.Meanwhile,the blending degree of old and new asphalts and the aging attributes of the aged asphalt also significantly affect the self-healing behavior.Under short-term microwave action,if the blending is insufficient,or the aging degree of the incorporated aged materials is more severe,the self-healing process mainly relies on the softer base asphalt part,which is activated and softened under microwave heating to exert a good healing effect.However,under long-term microwave heating,both the aged and base asphalts are fully softened,and the self-healing rates of the three recycled groups are 80%-91%,approaching the level of the newly-mixed group,but attention must be paid to the risk of localized asphalt softening and loosening.[Conclusions]Microwave heating technology effectively promotes the crack healing of recycled asphalt pavement,but its self-healing behavior is jointly influenced by the blending degree of old and new asphalt,the attributes of aged asphalt,and the microwave heating duration.In practical applications,the microwave heating duration should be reasonably selected to balance its self-healing effect and the risk of loosening and bulging.
