Under the premise of meeting residents'basic living needs,resettlement communities should exhibit distinct characteristics tailored to different regions.From the perspective of regional architecture,this paper identifies the main influencing factors for presenting regional characteristics in resettlement communities:natural environment,cultural customs,group characteristics,and regional policies.Based on this,the paper takes resettlement communities in Hefei as a case study,and explores the implementation paths for the creation of regional features in the planning and design of resettlment communities through practices from several aspects,including building layout,supporting public service facilities,transportation design,landscape design,vertical design,and form design,in order to improve the living quality and residents'sense of belonging in resettlement communities.
