李氏推拿法联合烧山火针刺手法治疗风寒阻络型神经根型颈椎病疗效观察OA

Objective To investigate the clinical effect of Li's massage therapy combined with mountain-burning fire acupunc-ture in the treatment of cervical spondylotic radiculopathy(CSR)of wind-cold blocking collateral type.Methods A total of 72 patients with CSR of wind-cold blocking collateral type were divided into control group and observation group using a random number table,with 36 patients in each group.The patients in the control group were treated with Li's massage therapy com-bined with conventional acupuncture,while those in the observation group were treated with Li's massage therapy combined with mountain-burning fire acupuncture,once a day and 6 times a week for a treatment course of 2 weeks.The two groups were compared in terms of Neck Disability Index(NDI),Visual Analogue Scale(VAS)score,pain rating index(PRI),present pain intensity(PPI)score,traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)syndrome score,the serum levels of the inflammatory factors interleukin-1β(IL-1β)and interleukin-6(IL-6),and clinical outcome after treatment.Results After treatment,both groups had significant reductions in NDI,PRI,VAS,and PPI scores,TCM syndrome score,and the serum levels of IL-1β and IL-6(P＜0.05),and the observation group had significantly greater reductions than the control group(P＜0.05).The observation group had a significantly better clinical outcome than the control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion For patients with CSR of wind-cold blocking collateral type,Li's massage therapy combined with mountain-burning fire acupuncture can significantly re-duce the serum levels of inflammatory factors,alleviate pain,improve cervical function,and enhance quality of life.
