From Traditional Homology of Medicine and Food to Modern Applications:Advances in Research on the Development and Utiliza-tion of Polygonatum odoratum Resources
综述了近年来玉竹在种质资源、化学成分、药理活性及质量评价等方面的研究进展.玉竹主要分布于我国南北两大产区,北方产区以野生型为主,主要分布在河北及东北等地区;南方产区以栽培品种为主,主要包括湖南的"湘玉竹"与浙江的"浙玉竹",可通过形态学、细胞学和分子生物学等方法进行准确分类鉴定.化学成分研究表明,玉竹含有多糖、黄酮类化合物、甾体皂苷以及氨基酸、矿物质等多种活性物质.现代药理研究证实,玉竹及其活性成分具有抗肿瘤、降血糖、抗氧化、免疫调节等多重药理作用.以多糖、总黄酮、总皂苷等为指标成分,结合现代分析技术,可实现玉竹药材质量的科学评价.研究结果可为加强玉竹种质资源的保护与合理开发利用、深入开展活性成分作用机制研究、完善质量标准体系提供参考,为其在医药、保健品等领域的开发应用提供科学依据.
This review summarized recent research progress on Polygonatum odoratum in terms of germplasm resources,chemical constituent,pharmacological activities and quality evaluation.Polygonatum odoratum is primarily distributed in two major production regions:the northern region,dominated by wild varieties mainly found in Hebei and Northeast China,and the southern region,characterized by cultivated varieties including"Xiangyuzhu"from Hunan and"Zheyuzhu"from Zhejiang.These varieties can be accurately classified and identified through morphological,cytological,and molecular biological methods.Chemical constituent studies had revealed that Polygonatum odoratum contains various bioactive compounds,including polysaccharides,flavonoids,steroidal saponins,amino acids,and minerals.Modern pharmacological research had demonstrated that Polygonatum odoratum and its active components possess multiple therapeutic effects,including anti-tumor,reducing blood sugar,antioxidant,and immunomodulatory activities.Scientific quality evaluation of Polygonatum odoratum can be achieves through modern analytical techniques,using polysaccharides,total flavonoids,and total saponins as indicator components.This review provides scientific basis for strengthening the protection and rational utilization of Polygonatum odoratum germplasm resources,conducting in-depth research on the mechanisms of active components,improving quality standard systems,and developing applications in medicine and health products.
