Taoxiangyou Gongzhen is a high-quality hybrid late rice variety newly developed by Hunan Taohuayuan Agricultural Technology Co.,Ltd.and Shenzhen Taohuayuan Agricultural Science Research Center Co.,Ltd.When cultivated as a double-cropping late rice in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River,it has a whole growth period of 115.2 days.This variety exhibits advantages such as high yield potential,excellent grain quality(meets the national standard for Grade Ⅱ edible rice quality),and wide adaptability.This paper introduces the breeding process,characteristics,seed production,and high-yield cultivation techniques of Taoxiangyou Gongzhen.
