种子休眠、NaCl、干旱及埋深对雀麦种子萌发的影响OA
Effects of Seed Dormancy,NaCl,Drought and Burial Depth on Germination of Bromus japonicus Seeds
为探究不同非生物胁迫对雀麦(Bromus japonicus)种子萌发的影响.通过萌发试验探究雀麦种子的休眠特性及盐、干旱和埋深对种子萌发的影响,比较不同埋深对种子萌发及出苗的关系.结果表明,雀麦新成熟种子存在休眠,赤霉素(GA3)和室内干藏显著促进种子的萌发(P<0.05),表明其种子具有后熟作用,为非深度生理休眠.NaCl显著抑制雀麦种子萌发(P<0.05),雀麦种子在0.1 mol/L NaCl浓度下萌发仅有23%,0.2 mol/L NaCl则不萌发.复水后种子恢复萌发率与 NaCl浓度无显著关系.干旱10%PEG-6000同样显著抑制雀麦种子萌发,15%PEG-6000不萌发,复水后恢复萌发率随着干旱程度的增加而降低.埋深对雀麦种子的萌发及出土有明显影响,种子能在0~8 cm埋深中萌发,在0~4 cm埋深中出苗.0~4 cm埋深,种子出苗率随埋深深度的增加而降低,其中0 cm埋深下的种子出苗率(80%)最高,≥6 cm埋深下的种子没有出苗.在0~1 cm埋深中,种子萌发率等于出苗率;在2 cm以上埋深下种子萌发率大于出苗率;在≥6 cm埋深深度时,种子仍有萌发,但未能出土.种子萌发率和出苗率与埋深深度呈负相关.雀麦休眠特性及其在不同 NaCl、干旱和埋深条件下的生存方式体现了雀麦在极端环境下的应对策略,确保雀麦种群的更新.
In order to explore the effects of different abiotic stresses on the seed germination of Bromus japonicus,this study took Bromus japonicus as the research object and conducted germination experiments to investigate the dormancy characteristics of its seeds,as well as the impacts of salt,drought and burial depth on seed germination,and to compare the relationship between different burial depths and seed germi-nation and seedling emergence.The results showed that newly matured seeds of Bromus japonicus exhibi-ted dormancy.GA3 and indoor dry storage significantly promoted seed germination(P<0.05),indicating that the seeds had post-ripening characteristics and belonged to non-deep physiological dormancy.NaCl stress significantly inhibited the seed germination of Bromus japonicus.The germination rate of seeds was only 23%at a NaCl concentration of 0.1 mol/L and no germination was observed at concentrations above 0.2 mol/L.There was no significant correlation between the recovery germination rate of seeds after rehy-dration and NaCl concentration.Drought stress simulated by 10%PEG-6000 also significantly inhibited seed germination,and no germination occurred at PEG-6000 concentrations above 15%.The recovery ger-mination rate after rehydration decreased with the intensification of drought stress.Burial depth had a significant effect on seed germination and seedling emergence of Bromus japonicus.Seeds could germinate at burial depths ranging from 0 to 8 cm,while seedling emergence only occurred at depths from 0 to 4 cm.Within the burial depth range of 0-4 cm,the seedling emergence rate decreased with the increase of burial depth,with the highest emergence rate(80%)recorded at 0 cm burial depth.No seedling emergence was ob-served at burial depths≥6 cm.At burial depths of 0-1 cm,the seed germination rate was equal to the seedling emergence rate;at depths above 2 cm,the seed germination rate was higher than the seedling e-mergence rate;at burial depths≥6 cm,seeds still germinated but failed to emerge from the soil.Both seed germination rate and seedling emergence rate were negatively correlated with burial depth.The dor-mancy characteristics of Bromus japonicus and its survival strategies under different NaCl,drought and burial depth conditions reflect its adaptive mechanisms in extreme environments,which ensure the popula-tion renewal of Bromus japonicus.
