果胶低聚糖是果胶降解后产生的一类低分子量聚合物,也是现今一类极具潜力的新型益生元物质.文章综述了目前果胶低聚糖的主要结构、来源与普适化的制备方法,并着重分析了其生物活性及目前在畜禽等动物生产中的应用.旨在进一步总结其在促进动物生长并改善健康状况的优势,为最大限度地发挥果胶低聚糖功能及价值,促进其在饲料添加剂领域的进一步研究和量产应用提供依据.

Pectic oligosaccharides(POS)are low-molecular-weight polymers generated from the degrada-tion of pectin and represent a novel prebiotic compound with considerable potential.The article summarizes the current knowledge on the structural characteristics,sources,and commonly applied preparation methods of POS,with particular emphasis on their biological activities and applications in livestock and poultry pro-duction.The objective is to highlight the advantages of POS in promoting animal growth and improving health,thereby providing a theoretical basis for maximizing their functional value and supporting further research and large-scale application of POS as feed additives.
