Objective To summarize the best evidence for nursing assessment and management of acupoint ap-plication in children with recurrent respiratory tract infections,aiming to provide a reference for clinical nurs-ing practice.Methods Based on the"6S"Hierarchy of Evidence-Based Resources,articles on nursing assess-ment and management of acupoint application in children with recurrent respiratory tract infections were sys-tematically retrieved from Chinese and foreign databases from their establishment to February 2024.Selected articles underwent quality evaluation,evidence extraction and integration by 2 investigators.Results AA total of 9 articles were finally included,comprising 3 expert consensuses,1 technical manual,4 systematic reviews and 1 meta-analysis.A total of 17 pieces of best evidence were summarized,covering three aspects:constitu-tion identification and pre-application assessment,acupoint selection and application cycles,and post-appli-cation observation and care.Conclusion The evidence summarized in this study provides an evidence-based reference for standardizing acupoint application procedures in children with recurrent respiratory tract infec-tions.In clinical practice,healthcare professionals should tailor the application based on the child's specific condition and individual characteristics to optimize management outcomes.
