Efficacy evaluation system for cosmetics labeled as"suitable for sensitive skin"across common anatomical regions of the human body was discussed.Through the identification,organization,and integration of a large body of domestic and international literature,methods for efficacy claims based on human efficacy evaluation tests and consumer use tests were summarized.Key elements including screening methods and questionnaires,usage period,application frequency,test procedures,data processing,and data evaluation,were systematically reviewed.By integrating differentiated evaluation approaches for sensitive skin across different body regions,a comprehensive evaluation system was established,comprising two core modules:test design and procedures,and data processing and evaluation.This system combines objective data obtained from human efficacy evaluation tests with subjective perceptions collected through consumer use tests,thereby providing multidimensional scientific support for efficacy claims.It not only meets the needs of product development and evaluation but also helps consumers with sensitive skin select more suitable products.
