FR-Ⅲ矫治功能性前牙反(牙合)的骨面型反应OA

Objective:To compare vertical facial pattern-dependent responses to Fränkel III(FR-III)therapy in ado-lescents with functional anterior crossbite.Methods:Patients with functional anterior crossbite(n=62)were retrospectively categorized into low-,average-,or high-angle groups according to vertical skeletal pattern,and all received FR-III treatment.Pre-(T1)and post-treatment(T2)lateral cephalometric variables were measured using Dolphin Imaging,and T1-T2 changes were evaluated separately within each group.Results:Class III relationships improved in all groups(P<0.05).The low-angle group showed mainly maxillary incisor compensation with minimal vertical and soft-tissue changes.The average-angle group exhibited marked sagittal improvement with mandibular clockwise rotation and profile improvement.The high-angle group showed clockwise rotation with increased anterior lower facial height and pronounced maxillary incisor proclination.Conclu-sion:FR-III improves maxillomandibular relationships in functional Class III malocclusion,with distinct response patterns across vertical facial types.
