针对20CrMo钢内齿圈跌落试验中的开裂问题,通过宏观特征观察、微观组织分析、力学性能测试及断口形貌观察等手段,对开裂内齿圈展开全面分析.内齿圈在跌落试验中发生开裂,其裂纹源区位于齿圈内侧,终断区位于齿圈外侧.这一现象表明,内齿圈落地瞬间,齿圈外侧受到瞬间冲击力,造成齿圈外侧承受压应力,齿圈内侧承受拉应力.在拉应力的作用下,齿圈内侧率先形成裂纹源,随后裂纹迅速向外侧扩展,最终导致内齿圈整体开裂.断口特征分析表明材料内部存在较大的组织应力,断口心部同时存在解理断口与韧窝断口,其中韧窝断口对应的是未淬透的低强度组织,心部组织未淬透.对基体组织的分析表明热处理过程中的回火极为不充分.同时,样品表面非马组织严重,降低齿圈表面强度.上述组织缺陷与应力状态相互叠加、共同作用,是导致内齿圈在跌落试验过程中发生开裂的主要原因,为进一步提出针对内齿圈开裂件的改进措施和方案奠定基础.

Aiming at the cracking failure of 20CrMo steel internal gear ring in drop test,comprehensive analysis is carried out on the cracked gear ring by means of macroscopic observation,microstructure analysis,mechanical property test and fracture morphology observation.The crack source of the failed gear ring originated at the inner side,and the final fracture occurred at the outer side.It is indicated that an instantaneous impact load is applied to the outer side when the gear ring dropped to the ground,inducing compressive stress on the outer surface and tensile stress on the inner surface.Under the effect of tensile stress,crack initiation firstly occurred at the inner side,and the crack then rapidly propagated outward,eventually causing integral cracking of the internal gear ring.Fracture characteristic analysis shows that large structural stress existed inside the material.Both cleavage fracture and dimple fracture are observed at the fracture core,where the dimple fracture corresponded to the unquenched low-strength microstructure,proving that the core is not fully quenched.Matrix microstructure analysis demonstrates that the tempering process during heat treatment is extremely inadequate.Meanwhile,serious non-martensitic microstructure appears on the sample surface,which reduces the surface strength of the gear ring.The superposition and combined action of the above microstructure defects and stress state are the main causes for the cracking of the internal gear ring in drop test,which provides a basis for proposing targeted improvement measures and schemes for cracked gear ring parts.
