Study on bending fatigue properties of 20CrNiMo steel carburized gears under different stress ratios
为研究20CrNiMo钢渗碳齿轮在不同应力比下的疲劳性能,采用疲劳试验机分别在0.50、0.33和0.25应力比下对渗碳齿轮进行弯曲疲劳试验.研究表明:20CrNiMo钢渗碳齿轮断裂主要发生在齿根部位,裂纹以穿晶断裂为主,且随应力比减小,裂纹扩展速率逐渐增大.齿轮疲劳寿命随应力比减小而降低,当应力比为0.50,齿轮疲劳寿命最大.
To investigate the fatigue performance of 20CrNiMo steel carburized gears under different stress ratios,this experiment employed a fatigue testing machine to conduct bending fatigue tests on carburized gears at stress ratios of 0.50,0.33,and 0.25,respectively.The study indicates that fractures in 20CrNiMo steel carburized gears primarily occur at the tooth root region,with intergranular fracture being the dominant failure mode.Crack propagation rate increases as the stress ratio decreases.Gear fatigue life diminishes with decreasing stress ratio,reaching its maximum at a stress ratio of 0.50.
